Birth Control

So today I started my birth control for the very first time. I know there are a few things I need to watch out for to see if this pill will work for me or not. Now I also know there are going to be side effects to any birth control pill I take. Can anyone help advise me on what to look out for or what to just ignore? Or give me any tips and suggestions for someone trying bc for the first time?
