reaction to birth control??

i’m interested in getting the bar in my arm. my friends have it but they all have different “reactions” i guess, from it. one friend will be on her period for 3 months, another friend won’t have it at all, and another gained weight after she got it. those are my biggest fears. and i just don’t want to mess any of that up or have some of those things happen to me

Cant honestly say it won’t happen but it’s a high possibility that it could and that’s why I didn’t get on it. I got on the Patch and haven’t had any side effects except my periods are only 3 days long. I didn’t get the bar for those reasons and because I watched YouTube videos of girls that had it and a lot of them were having suicidal thoughts as a side effect from That birth control and a lot were also having periods for like 6 months so I was just like fck That lol.

I was nervous about those things too and my doctor said she doesn’t have many success stories in terms if people enjoying it. She said she has a lot of people come back within months to get it out. However I know people who do love it but also people who hate it.
