Our Sweet Samuel is here!

I was induced starting Monday, feb 5th at 7:30pm, at 38 weeks, one day for HBP and Gestational Diabetes. Starting from 0cms 20% effaced, 2 rounds of cervadil, 2 rounds of Cytotec, Pitocin, a failed epidural, and a active labor that, when it finally got there, went incredibly fast... including that comedy trope where the doc isn’t in the room, the baby literally shoots out, and a nurse dives to catch him, football style. A 54 hour ordeal to say the least, but he’s literally perfect and I am so in love. Feb 8th, 12:38 am, 7 lbs, 11 oz, 21.5 inches long.
