How did everyone’s induction go? (If you had one)

I’m 40w 2d. Being induced Saturday if my babe doesn’t come before then! Asking for induction stories! I live in Canada Ontario. My OB actually had a form to fax it looked like a requisition. I will be contacted by the hospital soon. Everyone’s saying that if it’s a legit induction, I stay at the hospital with an IV and don’t get the gel. My OB wants him out this weekend since I’ve had some minor complications. Would like some input on anyone else’s experiences!
