My boyfriend pranked me. 😑

My boyfriend and I were planning to go out of town and eat somewhere new. And I'm all excited, getting all cute and stuff.

His car is kind of an oldie, but a goodie. 2010 Toyota Corolla. His car broke down on my birthday and we spent my birthday at an auto place. ANNNNNYWAYYYYSSS....

My boyfriend calls me: "Hey, baby. Uhmm, my car broke down again."

Me, without a hitch: "Okay, where are you? How close are you?" In my head: "Oh my god, my baby... I hope he's in a safe location. I hope I can get to him. 😭"

Him: "I'm at the gas station near the community college. My car refuses to crank back up."

Sweet! He's less than 5 minutes down the road. He should be good!

I immediately tell him I'm on my way. I put my little fuzzy slippers, grab my phone, wallet, and keys and head out. I didn't care about anything else, but getting to my boyfriend.

This man...

This sweet, frustrating man... got me so f-cking good.

He was standing on my front lawn with his arms wide open, laughing at me.

I couldn't help but let out a little fury of punches on his chest.

(He's a big guy, my punches did absolutely nothing.) Then, I hugged him. I was pissed because he got me so good, but also impressed because he did his first successful prank on me. But, I was so glad that he made it to me safely.
