Hi all,

My boyfriend and I are both in the medical field. I work in a busy city trauma er, and my boyfriend is a paramedic at a few different companies. He recently started studying to become a flight medic. Well after talking to a few people and doing our own research we came to the realization that most insurance companies will not provide life insurance to flight medics or if they will it is extremely expensive. We are a young couple, talking about marriage and definitely wanting children. I will obviously support him in whatever he wants to do, and will be immensely proud of him when he accomplishes his goal. However my question to you all is what would your thoughts be? Have any of you been in this situation? Anyone out there with medic SO’s who feel the fear and stress knowing the dangers of their job?
