Yes it's dangerous. It means you have a pregnancy inside the uterus AND one outside of the uterus. If it is a wanted pregnancy, typically they do a small laparoscopic surgery to remove the ectopic pregnancy (the one outside of the uterus). It all depends on how far along the pregnancy is and whether or not the intrauterine pregnancy is viable or not (if it's a good pregnancy).
