I need advice!

My 10 month old stays home with me everyday. He hasn’t gotten sick at all yet, and I’m trying to avoid the flu. He touches shopping carts, has licked our floors (yeah I know lol) and my husband works with cell phones all day and I’m sure is a slurry of germs when he walks into the house at night.

My cousin has a 15 month old baby girl that goes to daycare and has been sick multiple times. She asked us to go to our exploratory museum this weekend - first off, her daughter is going to the dr for a runny nose tomorrow (could be allergies) and I’m worried that my baby (who puts everything in his mouth) will get some horrible illness by going to a crowded place that’s been touched by every kid in our city.

If I’m being way to dramatic please someone tell me. I’m worried about this flu!!! My mom’s friend’s little 8mo th old is currently in the hospital with an illness from daycare. I just don’t know what’s right/ overly protective.
