If you were pregnant (2nd-3rd trimester) would you go to a country with zika? (on the beach ONLY)
READ FIRST: CDC is now saying they don't know the likelihood of zika actually affecting an unborn child if you do contract it. Their official recommendation is to not travel to countries that have exposure to zika, but if you do, to use lots of bug spray and minimize exposure. (source: CDC.org) and lastly, my doctor told me that because the first trimester is when the brain is primarily developing, after that, it is not as big of a risk.
