I got my LH surge yesterday and after BDing i got this. is this normal for ovulation?

No. Not for ovulation. You have to remember the size of an ovary (3-5cm). Now also imagine how tiny a follicle is (17-26mm) that is releasing an egg (about the size of a period . ). Then realize that the ovary is separate from your Fallopian tube and actually will most like bleed into your abdomen, not down the tube, into the uterus and then out your vagina, in that amount. Ovulation bleeding, if any, will be faint and not need a pad.
Now all this goes out the window if you have PCOS, fibroids, excessive progesterone, or just have naturally heavy periods.
