Will an emergency contraceptive always affect you the same way?

Last year when I’d take a plan b pill, my period would follow shortly after.

I took a take action pill about 6 days ago & I haven’t gotten any signs of my period besides breaking out (could also be cause I’ve been messing with my face a lot).

So do emergency contraceptives always affect your body the same way? Does it depend on what pill you take?

Update: I know it’s not birth control, I’m not saying “each time I use it...” I said “when I’d take it” as in when it was necessary.

#2- Not all condoms have ripped, other times were just slip ups in which we didn’t use protection. & I’ve taken a pill probably 3 or 2 times at the beginning of last year and once this year
