Help!! How did you tell your parents??

My hubby and I are searching for ideas on how to tell our parents we are expecting baby #1 after our 6 week appointment! This will be his parents’ first grandchild and my parents’ second. Please post your ideas and announcements!!!

My husband couldn’t help himself and told him parents already lol.  I’m tell my mom this weekend.  We have our first ultrasound on Friday, and I bought her this really sweet book about Baby loves grandma.  We recently took couples photos, before we even knew I was pregnant, and my mom requested 2 of the photos, so I plan to wrap those pictures up with the book and an ultrasound photo included.  I think she’ll be completely surprised since I recently went through an ectopic surgery.

I just texted my mom & went to my sisters to tell her soon after I found out. & he texted his dad and grandma.  
Nothing special because it's not a family oriented family. If that makes sense... 
He was only excited to tell his grandma. 
But we did announce what the sex was by giving everyone a gift.

We told our parents at Christmas (9 weeks) and gave them framed ultrasound photos. My MIL cried, she was sweet.

When we have ours were waiting til I hit my second trimester just to be safe of the high risk zone. I’m between personal grandparent things or onesies.

This is my parents first grandchild also! My parents love to golf so my husband and I got them personalized golf balls that said “promoted to Grandma” and “Promoted to Grandpa.” We found them on Etsy. They were shocked but loved them. No matter what you do they’ll love it!
