Should I get checked out?

So I have been cramping on & off today, no bleeding or spotting...but I didn’t have this with my first pregnancy that I can remember...I am only 5 1/2 weeks, haven’t had an ultrasound yet...should I get checked out?? My friend who just had a baby said it could just be because my husband & I had sex last night, so that could be why the cramping is different...suggestions?

Cramping is normal. I’m over 10 weeks and still have it. Unless you start bleeding a lot I really wouldn’t worry about it

I️ honestly wouldn’t worry too much about it unless your spotting or something. Also try to be a little more gentle while having sex. My husband and I️ used to do it everyday but now that we’re pregnant we stopped like once every two days. I️ asked my doctor he said it doesn’t affect the baby but the semen has a thing inside of it that can cause a miscarriage.That’s why it’s better to take it easy.

if it's just regular cramps your fine i cramped till 2nd trimester.

If the pain becomes really bad, yes, it could be ectopic. But it is too early to tell what is going on otherwise.
