Calling Lesbian Opinion

In the high school I go to, two girls would like to walk for homecoming. Traditionally it would be a male and a female. Both of the girls have boyfriends and are straight. The only reason the school board will let them walk is if they lesbian or gay. I feel that since they would be lying about how they feel sexually they are stealing the benefits of lesbians.

For example a lesbian would not lie and say she is straight to have the benefits of walking in homecoming, so why should the girls be able to lie??
