Forced c-sect

I have a 5 year old that will be 6 before baby is born, and he was so so big that my dr decided after 18.5 hours of labor, involving pushing and everything, I needed a c-sect. Well now I want to try again with this baby but the hospital closest to me "won't allow it" and my husband doesn't want to risk being in spontaneous labor, and driving an hour an a half to a hospital that will allow it. I'm not sure that my area has a lot of home births, but I'm kinda upset that this will be our last baby and I won't get the chance to deliver vaginally ever.
