mucus plug at 39 weeks

okay ladies, so i know losing it doesn't really mean anything. but i need some insight. i had my sweep yesterday, no cramping or anything. actually got pretty depressed because my OB made it sound like he'll be super late and have to be induced at 42 weeks. he still hasn't dropped. i haven't had any contractions and honestly don't even think ive had BH lately.

anyways, i just went to the bathroom and a huge chunk of my mucus plug came out. I'm due In 3 days, does this maaybee mean he'll be coming soon? or am i just getting excited for nothing? experiences? ( no blood just kinda brown on one peice of it the rest yellow)
