anyone else drink sweet tea while pregnant?

my doc said 5 cups of tea a day. but just plain tea. I love sweet tea. I'll have one or 2 cups a day when I have it in the house. usually do it to break up all the water I have to drink. also be careful cuz I've heard using fake sugar like Splenda can be worse off then reg. sugar

I don’t. I think it’s safe in moderation though just depends on how much you drink. I’m someone who has stopped drinking coffee because of the caffeine. Also sweet teas are usually loaded with sugar - so just keep that in mind in how that affects a baby. Same goes for sodas - in moderation I think it’s okay.

I drink sweet tea all the time. I don't like coffee and rarely have soda so tea is my main drink. I have a perfectly happy and healthy daughter and a healthy little boy about to be due. Unless you have gestational diabetes or you wanna be super conscious of everything, don't worry so much. Most tea has hardly any caffinee anyway.

It's safe but I wouldn't drink too much per day. too much caffeine isn't good and of course all of that sugar
