New job....

I was just hired for a new job and they want me to start on the 16th. But that doesn't give me enough time to put in a two week notice at my current job so I'm worried and not sure what to do. I don't wanna burn any bridges but I also don't wanna have to ask my new job for a later start date....any advice would really help. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? What'd you do?
