Babyshower???

If your baby came a week or a few days  before the day of your babyshower ? What would you do?

Still have it as if you’re expecting gifts then people have probably already bought them anyway

This happened with my first born. We decided to still have my baby shower as planned but we didn't tell anyone that I had my son so it actually was a sweet surprise for our family and friends. it became a baby shower/ viewing party. It was beautiful and everything worked out:)

I would either try and make it if I was feeling up for it and ask that we don’t open them in front of everyone due to time (I wouldn’t want to be there 4+ hrs) or ask to push the date back (if able) a couple of weeks and have baby join me for a “meet and greet” shower where people come to meet the baby and we do the shower together!

I was supposed to have my baby shower on Jan 28th, but had a preemie at 32 weeks on Jan 18th. He's still in NICU now. We ended up postponing the baby shower. When he is home and ready we will instead be doing a "welcome home, baby" party. He was sick and rushed two and a half hours from home at first so, logistically it wasn't great to go ahead with the shower.

I’d still have the shower as long you’re up for it. You’re still going to need all the diapers and things people usually bring and if it’s already planned 🤷🏼‍♀️
