An advice or comfort for heartache ?

My boyfriend and I dated for 2 years, everything was perfect we got along very well. We are both college students and work full time. At one point our schedules didn't match and seeing him or spending quality time was difficult. We started to make plans to move in together, because we missed each other's company and this would make it easier.

One day he told me this wasn't working and he just couldn't date someone who he didn't even get to see.

Today, I found out he is in a long distance relationship with his friend.

I am sure he sees me more than he will get to his new girlfriend. I am just so heartbroken.
