My fiancé and I agree that it's not a good idea to discuss arguments with anyone else (friends or family.) If you always talk about fights that the two of you have, then it'll stick in people's minds and it could change the way they view your husband. I have friends and coworkers who like to always vent/discuss their arguments and it just paints this negative image in my head, which is unfair to the guy.

Depends on what the fight or argument is about. If it’s about something like money, it stays between us... I use my judgment about what to tell them and what needs to stay private between us.

Friends will always side with you, it's what friends do. To have that third ear not really know the situation but know your side, it adds fuel to flame that whatever personal concerns were just confirmed from an unreliable source. Talk it out with him, sort it out with him, keep it with him.

Unless it escalates to a physical fight then tell someone, like the police and people close to you for your own safety. If it's just a regular argument them there's no need to tell anyone about it.
