Bleeding during sex.

so last night me and my boyfriend was having sex and I thought I started my period. My period is due the 23, and even though I don't usually start early, I just assumed it's a first time for everything. . He is well endowed and I have had bleeding with sex before with him, but never that much... like I'm saying I thought completely it was my period. It was a lot, bright red. so we stopped I get in the shower he gets in the shower clean each other off I put on a pad thinking I started my period. Well a few hours later I go to the bathroom there's only a little bit on the pad and whenever I wiped there was nothing on the toilet paper. so I thought okay maybe it'll come over night I have been cramping for about 2 weeks on and off wake up this morning and still no period. so we decided to have sex again. I thought maybe my period would start up during sex like it did yesterday but it did not. when I went to the bathroom after we was done it was only a little a little bit of Brown. Which I'm sure was the old blood from yesterday. should I wait to see if my period cakes... or.... idk what happened, I've never experienced anything like that before but now I'm a little concerned. has anyone else went through this?
