Here is the eligibility criteria (I am in Australia)

I have worked more than 330 hours, have worked 10 of 13 months HOWEVER stopped work at 30 weeks pregnant due to back problems and stress. (family issues). I couldnt get a doctor to write a letter but did manage to get a social worker to write a letter outlining my problems and my back issue and had mentioned ive been forced to take early unpaid maternity leave due to my back problems. I am getting induced at 39 weeks so i dont meet the requirements by ONE week which if you have a look above at the criteria its only ONE HOUR. So now, im not sure what to do. Try and get an hours work somewhere between now and April or do you think the social worker letter from the hospital would be good enough? The man from Centrelink office said that generally they need a "medical certificate" but said a social worker might be fine. Might be.... isnt good enough i need to know what to do!
