Getting Baptized today!!!!

Okay so my friend invited me to church camp and I never would of expected it to be this moving, I essentially said yes to going because I wanted to spend time with her and a few of my other friends who were going...but my goodness.

It's the final day and the pastor of the youth group comes to me and asks if I'm ready to move with the next step and get baptized. And I told him that I had when I was younger and he just told me " no, if you didn't mean it. You just got wet."

I'm nervous yet excited about my new walk with God, we've been here 4 days and that's all it took for me to fall in love with the man up stairs. I got saved on night one after a sermon touched my heart and I agreed internally that it was my time to commit to this, that this was something I truly wanted. It took almost 20 years for me to understand the love of Christ. In a way I'm excited, and I'm happy I waited because my goodness, it feels so good to be sure about something.

But I'm also happy I made so many new friends, but yes! Tomorrow I get baptized and I just wanted to share how excited and nervous I am! Happy Sunday y'all
