Who is shaving before birth?

I feel like I may be skipping the vag. I don’t keep up with it and it’s so much work for me because my belly is gigantic!

I never used to be bald down there but now that I can't see what I'm doing I just shave it all off blind. Probably looks like Edward Scissor Hands has had a go at trimming me 😂😂✂✂

I’d like to have my legs shaved, but if he comes unexpectedly who knows if that will be done. I don’t plan on shaving my vagina. I’ve read about a lot of women experiencing a lot of itching during healing and I’m not about that. I haven’t seen the ol’ gal in a long time anyway, whatever I see after birth will likely terrify me anyway, might as well have it covered up some... 😂😫

Csection this time so definitely because otherwise the trim it. Last time was supposed to be a vaginal birth and I also waxed. If you have any tearing or anything it will be much nicer to not have hair there. But I don’t know if I’d shave, it grows back so quickly and it’s itchy and yuck so might just even add to the discomfort

I trim up, but with my belly being so big it's been hard. so whatever! if I'm shaved hooray, if I'm not I have other things to worry about.

I want to get a wax so badly on my legs and down below. But I’ve never waxed down there before. I read it would hurt more than normal because there is more blood flow going on down there right now. I’m about to shave it all off as best I can. It is driving me crazy. I usually keep it clean down there right before my monthly for sanitary purposes. With this lovely 6 weeks of bleeding on the way, I want to shave it all off. I’m afraid I might butcher myself though since I will be going blindly 🙈

In my hospital booklet for Kaiser at 36 weeks, it says NOT to shave the pubic area. I’m not sure why though 🤷🏻‍♀️

Shaving is actually very helpful while giving birth. Nurses will do it for you if you cant reach. I’ve decided to use bikini nair cream
