Holy Cow!!
This is going to be a bit of a long post but this is the only place I can talk about this and all the support on here is amazing! So back in 2015 DH and I decided to start trying for baby #2. We had a 5 year old daughter and we thought it was time. Well not long after, in October, they discovered I had a brain tumor the size of a lemon on my frontal lobe. They removed it, but it turned out to be cancerous. So I did 6 weeks of intense chemotherapy and radiation, followed by a year of monthly chemotherapy. Fast forward to August 2017 and we get the all clear to start ttc again. So in December I conceived and we were so excited! Well that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage on January 21st. I had light bleeding over the course of 4 days and my levels dropped down to zero by February 2nd (confirmed with bloodwork). Since I was feeling ready, DH and I decided not to waste any time so as soon as the bleeding stopped we got right back to it. I wasn't expecting anything to happen so quickly but, well....
Rainbow baby here we come! I'm finding it hard to get excited or get my hopes up because of what happened last time. Despite the positive test I guess I'm in shock/denial. I hope this gives someone hope. That it is absolutely possible to get pregnant so quickly after a miscarriage. God is good! ❤🌈
