Any of you ladies eat sushi while pregnant?

my doctor said it would be ok to eat sushi from a reputable sushi restaurant. Any of you ladies eat it while pregnant?

It’s fine!!!
You eat raw fruits and veggies right ?
They haven’t been cooked or pasteurized either.  
And plenty of harmful bacteria is found in the dirt where they grow.  And in the trucks / people who ship them.
Protecting your baby from microbes is about sanitation and hygiene.
Not avoiding the wonderful nutrition in raw food.

I eat raw still, as I hate cooked. I eat from places I regularly eat from, and haven’t gotten sick from. I enjoy sushi maybe once a month, sometimes twice.

Yes but I’ve only eaten just plain avacado rolls. I’ve been craving spicy tuna but I don’t feel comfortable eating raw meat during my pregnancy

Yes.  But before deciding whether to have raw fish, check to see if your state/province health regulations require fish to be frozen before serving.   If so, you're fine eating low mercury raw fish as well as cooked items.  If not, I would skip the raw fish completely.

I’ve eaten sushi throughout my pregnancies and never had issues. I have had it twice already since getting pregnant (now 12w). Even though they suggest only eating the cooked sushi, I have some raw. I just make sure to not have any seafood/fish again for another week or so, that way I’m not putting too much mercury into my body.

I did once when I was pregnant with my son. I ate both cooked and raw. I just made sure to get it from a place I trusted and that had a good reputation and no history of food poisonings.
