PCOS struggles, any advice/pointers??
Is there anyone else out there struggling with PCOS but can’t really afford treatment? I am a living proof that PCOS can seriously mess with your facial skin. My hair growth is ridiculous, I have to shave at least every 2 days. And don’t say it’s not that serious because I literally cannot go any longer without shaving or I will be walking around looking like my HUSBAND, a man. And I’m already not a beauty queen, lack being feminine and I don’t have a body to die for. And the dark blemishes it leaves behind are the worst because they refuse to go away or lighten up 😩😩 My doctor have been trying to prescribe me Vaniqa 13.5 but in this small town, it’s hard finding pharmacies that carry that cream and when I did find someone, my insurance didn’t cover it and they refused to sell it to me or even order it being that it’s so costly without insurance covering it. And unfortunately, there’s no generic brand for it yet so I’m (excuse my language) shit out of luck 😭 I’m so tired of this PCOS stuff, it’s literally every woman’s nightmare.. bad facial hair & skin, weight gain that’s hard to lose, infertility. And my most insecurities ARE the symptoms of PCOS.. my ugly face, how fat & out of shape I’ve gotten in just a year 1/2, not being able to have my own family.. it all just sucks. And yet, there’s no precise treatment for PCOS. And the things I need, I can’t afford.
