Feeling lost

Me and my husband have been trying for about half a year. My periods last for 3 days now since I've been off birth control( I was on the shot, the pills and the implant in the arm) it was normal like 5 to 6 days before the birth control. And my period now likes to switch on me from the beginning of the month to the end of the month. I had preg like symptoms then I would take a test and it says neg everytime then my period would start. Idk what to do.
