Why is my friend trying to get pregnant?

We are young girls. I'm 16 and she's gonna be turning 17 this weekend. She had a miscarriage last summer and now she is trying to have a baby. First she was having a baby with her now ex (they was together for 2 years) and now she met this other guy they been together for 4 months or talking whatever and she is trying for a baby with this guy. I don't understand dose she think everything is gonna be all good and great? Does she think her job will save her or her father will always support her? I'm confused as why she wants a baby at this young age, and when I try talking to her about it she tells me why I'm trying to control her life she's so stubborn, I want the best for her because she is my best friend. And when we talk about babies. I say I can't imagine me right now pregnant at my age and she tells me she doesn't either because I don't have the kind and I'm immature for a baby like no shit I'm only 16 trying to finish high scho. What should I tell her ???! She really wants a baby

Honestly, I would tell her parents. She's probably grieving from her miscarriage and thinks that it's what she wants. She might not talk to you for a while but sometimes to be a good friend you have to sacrifice a little trust.

I would tell her parents. She is still sad and grieving over the baby she lost and is trying to get a baby to replace the one she lost. Tell her parents and help her deal with her loss of the other baby

She's still a minor and her parents should know- they'll most likely be the ones taking care of it anyways- they deserve to know what their daughter is up to!

Maybe secretly talk to her parents about it. At this point I don't think m there's anything more you can do or say to her. If you do talk to her parents, you might have to be prepared to lose her as a friend.

After a miscarriage or infant loss it's pretty common to want a baby. I have wanted a baby since I was 16 more then you can ever imagine. I waited. It's her choice. If you want to still be her friend then you have to get over it. Leave it alone or you will drive her away. Tell her parents if you want but she may not be ok with that and you may lose your friend. If she really wants a baby then she will have one. Your friends hurting just be there for her.

That's a tough one. It sounds like you have already tried to talk to her. Maybe find someone who had a baby at her age to talk to her about how tough it is?  Other than that, she will just have to make that mistake and learn on her own.
