AF or implantation bleeding?

How many days before AF did you get implantation bleeding? How do you know the difference between that and AF?

When I had implantation bleeding it was just a dime sized dot in my underwear and it was brown blood. Hope this helps. Only had it with baby #1

This could be very confusing. But it would look more like "spotting" you'll notice it only when you wipe or just in one tiny spot on your underwear. It would be light pink like blood or brown with clear discharge along with mild cramping. Also, you could get this days before AF just to beware I thought I had my af but I kept reading online and doing some research so it sounds like implantation bleeding. But I'll test in a few days! Baby dust to us!

Af is heavier than implantation. Implantation could last a couple hours or like a day. It's basically spotting.
