I’m so confused!

So my period is NEVER late. When the app says I’m supposed to start, I start. We’ve been TTC for almost 2 years. We’ve started seeing specialists and doctors but aren’t too far in yet. We had sex three times around peak ovulation. I started to spot after the first day we had sex and it kept going until the last day of ovulation. That’s never happened either.

Well I did the 2 week wait and expected my period but it didn’t come. When I was four days late I tested and it was negative. I tested again at 5, 7, and 8 days late. I am now 10 days late. I talked to my doctor yesterday and she ordered a blood test. Mostly because I wanted it for my peace of mind. I wasn’t getting my hopes up because, well, it hasn’t worked the last 20 months why would it work this time??

I got the results and they were, of course, negative. She told me to wait a few days to see if I start and let her know if I don’t.

So I’m 10 days late, which has never happened before, and not pregnant.

Anyone know why this is happening??
