Bleeding after D&C - How Long is Normal?

I lost my first baby two weeks ago and had my d&c on Friday May 29th. It's now 10 days later and I'm still bleeding. Some days it's heavy, some days it's just spotting. How long is normal? I just want this all to be over, and the constant blood just reminds me of everything each and every time.

After my D&C I bleed for three weeks. My OB wasn't concerned. I still get spotting now and then (my D&C was March 12). My periods have been heavier than normal and more cramps. Just give your body time to heal. I also had a positive pregnancy test six weeks after (it took my body that long for it to go down, my midwife was surprised at how high it still was at six weeks but it was going down).
