With a temperature sensor built into the pacifier’s silicon teat, the paci transmits temperature data via Bluetooth to a free app on an iOS or Android smartphone or tablet. The app determines when the temperature is the most accurate and then time-stamps and plots the temperature data in a graph. Via the app, parents can record when medication was administered, set-up alerts/ reminders and share the data with carers and medical professionals.

The app part is crazy but I got a pacie for my first baby that took her temp it was only 5$ and worked really well

I think it depends on the baby's medical history. If they have some medical issues that require constant recording and monitoring, then it'd be perfect. But like another person mentioned, the $5 ones work just fine. Then, again some people just love high tech toys! If it also came with a regular style thermonitor, it may be a good investment for all the family.

I would never spend that much on a pacifier just BC with my first one we were always losing them and having to buy more.

I like the thermometer part but there are thermometer pacifiers out there that is much much vheaper and there are free apps that you can use that you can input the same info (just manually instead of synced) i personally cannot justify $30 just for syncing ability.

I agree with PPs, but also, not every baby will take a pacifier so in that case you're essentially throwing $35 down the drain
