UTI & Not making it to the toilet

I've had my UTI For about a week now. I've tried drinking lots of water, even downed a carton of cranberry juice when yesterday I was at my boyfriends house and had the urge to go. I ran into his parents bathroom and didn't make it onto the toilet before my bladder decided to empty. Mortified! Does anyone have my tips or advice on this?
