We have recently read an article about hugs and kisses and we are split. I was raised with hugging and kissing on the lips of my family members but my so was raised with kisses on cheeks. They think kissing on the lips is weird and I think it's healthy and that there is passionate kissing and affectionate kissing. Obviously the former is not appropriate but the latter is acceptable until your child is too old.
