Insurance cover fertility treatments?

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone located in CA has insurance that covers their fertility treatments? If so, can you share what carrier and what they cover?

Hi I have blue cross blue shield and work for BofA my insurance has a lifelong coverage for IVF but i still have to pay copays,I ended up paying $4600 first-round was unsuccessful now I'm on to the second for $3600, I also heard Starbucks pays their employees 20k for ivf, I wish u all baby dust and patience

Watch out for clauses in coverage that don’t cover for the first year. We thought we were covered and ended up paying $7K for fertility testing.

I’m self employed in so cal. I’m so bummed that I have to wait another year for open enrollment.. 😭

Are you employed or self employed? If employed it depends on your employer if they want to buy the infertility coverage. Unfortunately in CA, employer is not required to buy the infertility coverage like in some states. 
All insurance have option for that. Are you NorCal or SoCal? If NorCal, Kaiser has IVF services, you can check their premium. Good luck!

I have United health and it covers my treatment even IVF!

I live in CA you have to add a separate fertility plan to your insurance otherwise fertility related treatments aren’t covered.
