Quit messing with my head!

Did our first IUI last month while waiting for my first lap scheduled for the 23rd. Did ok by telling myself if the IUI didn't work, then I had my next step in place. Obviously I hoped I could just cancel the surgery if I got pregnant. Well got my BFN on Saturday, and the surgery got postponed until August bc the doctor is actually not available on the23rd  now. Wtf. I feel like that just pushes me back another couple months. And, I still don't have my period but feel like shit. Took a test today holding that maybe they were wrong and I'm really pregnant. BFN. I am driving myself crazy : (  my husband thinks i should just go off everything (letrozole, menopur, ovidril) and take a break until surgery, but is that giving up?!?  Please help.
