Cosmetologist ?!

Anyone who works as a stylist , do you like your job? Pros and cons ?

I work for a corporate company and the only con, for me, is the pressure to sell products.  I hate that shit. If you rent and do your own thing the only con is the time it takes to build clientele.  I enjoy the flexibility and low stress factor. I haven't always done hair and I really love that I go home and have nothing to worry about that has to be done the next day, deadlines or crazy stressful bull - it's just hair and hair is fun!

Booth rent is the way to go. I absolutely love doing bridal/specialty hair and makeup

I am a licensed cosmetologist and I HATE it. I actually haven't worked in a salon in a few months. I knew cosmetology wasn't for me immediately when I started school.
Pros - I can do my husband's haircuts for him and i had fun when I was the esthetician at a salon (hours are why I quit).
Cons - Literally everything else about cosmetology.
