am i overreacting?

so my bestfriend and i are both pregnant and she got pregnant first, hers wasnt planned but mine is but i’m ttc secretly and i think she kinda thinks that i got pregnant cause she did.. shes 8-9 weeks and im 5-6 weeks right now..
so shes doing all the appointments and stuff first and getting all the symptoms and i know that every woman is different but shes being kinda dry everytime i text her and ask her about it and she today she told me that “we need to learn on our own” when i was asking her about ultrasounds and just being dru and seems uninterested.. am i overreacting?

Not sure if this is why she's being this way, but at 8-9 weeks I felt like absolute hell pretty much every moment of the day, much more than at 5 or 6 weeks.

Well, if she didn’t know you were TTC, maybe it feels like a blow to her. Maybe have a conversation about it (when you both have energy). Take a friend day out and tell her that you’re so excited to be experiencing all of this together after trying to conceive for so long. Maybe letting her hear that will help. And perhaps refrain from asking her too many questions or jumping on anything she just had done, like ultrasound, and asking too many questions. We all experience our pregnancies differently, so her experience might not be the same as yours anyway.
But if she keeps being salty after you give her that benefit, you don’t need her.

She sounds like she’s bitter that you got pregnant and stole her thunder. One of my best friends is about 8 weeks behind me and I’m so excited to be sharing all my info with her and telling her what to expect, plus our littles will hopefully grow up to be besties too. Maybe she just needs some time to adjust, or maybe her hormones are going nuts. Maybe just ask her outright face to face if she’s okay because you’ve been getting bad vibes from her? It’d be better to get it out in the open I’m sure.

You’re not. I was in the same situation. And I was hellaaaa mad at her because she was basically the first one I told when I got the positive sign  and she brushed it off and said “you just want to be pregnant bc I am”. Ohh girl I was madddd af because when she announced hers, I was so so happy. Anyways, she was unaware that I was that mad and when she brought up her baby in a text, I told her straightforward how rude it was. She was sorry. You should try it.

Some ladies are like that. My SIL was too. I was hyper excited and wanted to talk about everything and compare notes m, get info, etc with my first. I finally had to just except the fact that she wasn’t on board with that and find someone else to talk to and be excited with.

I personally don't think your overreacting I think it's good that she could give you advice um sure you would if it was the other way round maybe it's her hormones see how she is mine were up and down like a yoyo I'm 31 weeks and they have just started to settle. as you've said everyone is different but advice is always welcome. in the mean time you could try asking on here aswell I'm sure we would be happy to help you just ask away sweetie. congratulations to you aswell
