I started going to this one when I got pregnant and they weren't so bad then, but now that I'm not pregnant, it just feels like they couldn't care less plus it's so hard to get an appointment that isn't a month or more out. I went around this time last year because I was having some problems, but they didn't really listen to much of what I was saying and didn't communicate much with me afterwards. The meds didn't work and there were notes on my test results that I didn't really understand and something was abnormal, but I was told to just wait til my next annual... fast forward to this year, the problems never went away and are really unbearable today so I called asking about the soonest appointment I could get, but instead she just told me she'd leave a note for a nurse to call me and figure out if they want to send in a prescription or schedule an appointment... even though my exact words were "I want to come in and get this checked out and figure out what's going on.". It's so frustrating. I could understand if I was calling in about a yeast infection or something, but that's not what this is. I mean I'm concerned, I've been dealing with this for a year and a half, you know..I can't take it anymore. I want answers. Now, I'm stuck sitting around the house waiting for them to call me back and can't even call around to other doctors in order to find a new one.

My question is, how do you guys get your doctors to listen to you? Especially if they're difficult.
