Kyleena IUD

So I’m 22 years old and I’ve had the Kyleena IUD since June of 2017. My gynecologist told me that it would take around 3-6 months for my body to adjust to it. This is my first time ever being on any type of BC. It’s been almost 9 months since and I’m still getting the most terrible cramps ever. It will hurt so bad that I crouch over in pain. I’m not sure if this is normal and my body is still just trying to adjust or if this is something I should be worried about. I’m still getting monthly periods as well but the cramping isn’t just occurring around my period time. It happens randomly and for different periods of time. Any thoughts? 😕
