what was your experience with primrose oil tablets and how effective were they.. debating on grabbing some

I started taking it at 36 weeks & before that I wasn’t effaced then at 36 weeks & 5 days, the OB checked my cervix & I was 70% effaced & 1cm dilated so less than a week it has helped a lot! Did not get a check at my appointment Thursday so waiting until my next appointment (this Thursday coming up) to see if I stayed the same or progressed more. I recommend it. Btw, I took the 1000mg, 1 orally in the morning & 2 vaginally at night. Also, I started losing my mucus plug 2 days after taking it.

Took them orally and vaginally. They did nothing. 39 weeks 2 days not dilated and barely effacing. It’s different for everyone

i started taking them orally & vaginally like 2 weeks ago & im only 1 cm dilated but my ob says my cervix is soft so it does work
