Labor and delivery

So this is my third baby/delivery and I would like to try and go as natural as possible with this L&D;!!! :) with my first two I got the epidural and everything. This one I don’t want to and I wanna labor in the tub and shower and just like walk around and do my own thing. Has anyone sat in the tub and shower at a hospital? How is it? My mom said she doesn’t think I’m going to be able to because of all the bacteria and stuff in a tub. So I’m worried I won’t be able to. Any thoughts?
