Checking CM

I have been TTC for about 10 months. To begin with my husband and I just thought it would happen on its own after getting off BC.... no such luck. So I'm learning about tracking and trying to get used to feeling for my cervix... I honestly don't know what I'm doing. I'm pretty sure I feel it?? I know what the Internet says but I was hoping for some more insight. I have no idea how to tell if it's opening or not.. help!
