I consider myself the first week of 6 months, but I've heard so many ways!

According to the “ what to expect when expecting “ book which correlates very well with Kaiser permanentes 1st , 2nd , and 3rd trimesters :
Months 1 is actually : 1 - 4
Month 2 is actually : 5 - 8
Month 3 is actually : 9 - 13
Month 4 is actually : 14 - 17
Month 5 is actually : 18 - 22
Months 6 is actually : 23 - 27
Month 7 is actually : 28 - 31
Month 8 is actually : 32 - 35
Month 9 is actually : 36 - 40
Month 10 is actually : 41 +
This makes you 6 months and 1 weeks at 24 weeks pregnant . I am 36 weeks as of 02/23/18 and therefore I am 9 months pregnant .
Take it from me I asked everywhere . This is the closest true info you’ll get . I’m real OCD about things , physical and intellect .

24 x 7 = 168 days. Using 30 days as an average month, 168/30 = 5.6 months. So five & a half months is the most accurate.

You are confusing people by putting "beginning of 6". When you start your 6th month, you still have 4 months to go (5 months are behind you). This is at 22-26 weeks. You won't "be 6 months" until the 6th month is behind you and you have 3 months left. So by wording, you can be 5 months and starting  your 6th at 22 weeks. Add two weeks and you're at 5 1/2 months (behind you). Kind of like your birthday. You have reached whatever year, and it's the amount of time behind you.
