Great Analogy on Abortion

A pro-life speaker once told a story that really spoke to me:

You were in the jungle and all you had was a polaroid camera, and you managed to snap a picture of the most rare animal in the world. This picture is your big break. It will be worth tens of thousands of dollars when you sell it to National Geographic for the cover. This PICTURE could impact the world in an enormous way!

You are holding the picture and waving it and you can see a blurry form beginning to appear. Suddenly, someone comes up from behind you, snatches the picture up and burns it.

Naturally, you are upset, and you ask “Why would you do that!?”

They respond saying “It was just a blob, it was only a clump...”

“No. It was DEVELOPING. You took away the opportunity for it to DEVELOP into the rare and incredible thing that it could be.”

Undeveloped pictures will turn into beautiful art. Undeveloped humans will turn into beautiful people.
