Okay, so I recently posted my story about my job placing me on leave for the fact that I was pregnant and was slowing down production rates. I also posted a gofundme yet someone said I can’t post it here. So, rather than doing all that, I was wondering if anyone has had an experience like this or if I could get a regular family medicine doctor to fill out the form and put I was not covered by insurance between January 19th to the day I got to see an OB/GYN which was last week on Thursday. I feel like I wasn’t communicated with well at all and not to mention the fact that it’s amazon (which a lot of people have bad experiences working for). I was basically left unemployed and they told me I could just get a doctor to write I didn’t have insurance but that’s proving difficult because some say I have to be a patient and they can only do it up until that day. It’s stressful because in reality. Nobody really told me anything and it was stay and get told I was going to get fired then eventually terminated or leave and NOT slow down production.

EDIT: I also notified them plenty of time that I couldn’t see a doctor until I got approved for insurance. Then they told me to take a personal leave rather than a medical one. I didn’t know that there were options available to me until this lady at HR said corporate was putting me on the wrong one. :) Yet, when I would try to get medicaid they would always say that I should have insurance through Amazon when I received the package with the information a DAY AFTER the benefit enrollment expired and I had a private insurance at the time. 😒
