HCG levels dropped at 8 1/2 weeks? Please share your experience.
I'm a nervous wreck now. I'm at 8 1/2 weeks now and had two weeks of a great heart beat (162) and perfect growth (baby is at 20 mm), but in a matter of a week, my HCG levels went from 120,000 to 230,000 (different lab) to 109,000 today.
The doctor said the ultrasound is all that matters but I can't help but think something is really wrong.
Has anyone experienced this?? How has this worked out? I know HCG levels can plateau at 8-12 weeks, but this just seems really early.
