Pregnancy blood draws?

Hi, just went for my initial blood testing before doing IUI next month. Had 7 tubes taken and on the last one nearly passed out. This has never happened to me before! Just wondering....is there a lot of blood tests during your pregnancy? Ugh I hope not, never want to feel that way again!!
